Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary provides programming for youth
to enhance their nature studies and to learn about native plants and animals of Tennessee.
A 1 ½ hour program designed for specific badge requirements
$150 per program
This fee is good for up 10 participants (scouts + leaders/parents). Additional scouts and adults are $15 each.
Maximum: 20 participants per program.
PAYMENT
Full payment is required to reserve your date. We accept credit cards and checks only.
If paying by credit card: Send an email to info@owlshill.org (be sure to include your Troop number). We will send you an e-invoice to register and pay for your Troop. You will receive a confirmation email with your receipt.
If paying by check: Please make checks payable to
Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary. We do not book your program on our calendar until payment is received.
REFUND POLICY: No refunds will be issued.
PROGRAM CHANGES & CANCELLATION POLICY: Programs take place rain or shine and begin promptly at scheduled start time. We will, however, cancel a program if Williamson County is under a severe weather warning issued by the National Weather Service. Registrants will be notified of cancellations by email. If a program is cancelled, you will receive a credit (valid for 30 days) toward a future program or Day Pass admissions.

In this adventure you will use your scouting outdoor skills and learn more about the natural world around you. Hike on, Wolf Cub!
In this adventure you'll practice reading maps, learn how to use a compass, and go for a hike using a compass to find your way.
In this adventure, you will use your Wolf brain to learn about dinosaurs and other giant creatures. Explore fossils found in Tennessee and become a paleontologist by digging for your own specimen.
Scouts will explore the world of native plants and animals of Tennessee. Learn how you can do your part to help them survive.
Scouts will learn how Owls's Hill staff cares for our animal ambassadors and about animal care careers.
A naturalist studies living creatures and plants in the wild. Scouts will learn about native wildlife, with emphasis on the venomous reptiles and native plants of Tennessee.
In this adventure, Scouts will learn how to identify plants and trees and how they differ in locations around the world. They will gain knowledge about ecosystems and the importance of conserving our natural resources.
When you go "into the wild", you will begin to understand some of the mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and insects that live with us day and night; and how they contribute to the world in which we live.

Bugs help us in lots of cool ways. Scouts will explore the world of insects and learn how they help the earth and people, too!
Scouts love to sing songs, pack fun and tasty snacks, and hunt for signs of animals. Here’s what you need to know to become a Brownie Hiker-get ready for an adventure!
Learn about ecology, the study of how plants and animals live together in the environment. Girls will learn about habitats, the food chain, and how to help wildlife
You learn about your world in many ways: seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling, and tasting. You use your senses all the time, even when you don’t know it!
Scouts will learn more about wild animals and their wild habitats and how we can help them survive.
