We will bring a nature to you! Our Nature Comes Calling outreach program are educational and interactive. We provide programming for all ages including schools, libraries, senior centers, scouts, day cares, and other community organizations. Each program offers educational content, live animal interaction, and animal biofacts. 

PRICING:

School Programs (30 minute program)

• $325 for first program (class); $200 each additional program
• Classroom: Maximum of 30 participants per program
• Assembly room: Maximum of 250 participants per program
• Add-on activities (20 minutes) are $60 for the first program and $40 for each additional program, plus materials fee
• Available within 60 miles of Owl's Hill

Community groups (30 - 40 minute program)

• $400 for first program; $250 each additional program
  
• Maximum of 100 participants per program
• Available within 60 miles of Owl's Hill

Virtual programs (synchronous)  (15, 30, or 45 minute program)

• $50 per 15 minutes; maximum 45 minutes
• Fee is per class (maximum 30 participants). Up to 2 classes may be combined ($100 / 15 minutes)
• Virtual programs must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance

Additional fees for downtime between programs and program materials may apply.

PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY :

• Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your program date.
• We accept credit cards, purchase orders (tax-exempt schools only), or checks. No refunds will be issued.
• We will make every possible attempt to reschedule trips cancelled due to severe weather resulting in District school closures or delayed openings. 

Nature Comes Calling Programs:

Animal Autographs
Recommended for 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Grades

Examine the pelts, skulls, and scat that gives clues to the diet, habitat, and more of some of Middle Tennessee's native wildlife. Animal adaptation is explored in this hands-on program. 

Nature Detective Workshop
Recommended for Kindergarten & 1st Grade

The school yard can be a magical place of discovery! Learn to enjoy and appreciate the natural world by exploring with your senses and other naturalists' tools such as magnifying glasses and binoculars. 

Reptile & Amphibian Discovery
Recommended for K - 4th Grades

Learn the differences between reptiles and amphibians. Participants will meet a reptile and an amphibian to learn about characteristics, diet, eggs, and adaptations. 

Meet An Owl (not available June - August)
All Ages

Learn all about Tennessee's owls through this in-depth owl program. Discover how these amazing birds hear, see, talk, hunt, and live in the wild all around us with one of our educational owls.
